“Trinette” [Catherine de Vaux MacKinnon]. “The Clock’s Advice.” Creative Young Canada: Collection of Verse, Drawings and Musical Compositions by Young Canadians from Seven to Twenty Years of Age. Ed. Aletta E. Marty. Toronto: Dent, 1928. 115.

Catherine de Vaux MacKinnon is the daughter of Lilian Vaux MacKinnon, one of the poets in the 471 authors posted in our original database at SFU. Catherine’s niece, Christine Kilpatrick, and her daughter, Daphne Biggs, have been helpful in providing information about the poets in their family. It is wonderful to see how writing flows through the generations in so many cases.
