Charles Rowley, the step-son of Beatrice Rowley (“R. H. Grenville”), has shared with us a number of letters and cards containing poetry written for the family by his step-mother. The author has kindly given us permission to publish any of her poems and photos that Charles has provided for us. This previously published poem was sent in a card dated 26 July 2007, accompanied by a photo of Beatrice Rowley taken at her 90th birthday celebration, 10 July 2007 (her birthday is 9 July).

Seeking a life transition date for R. H. Grenville (Rowley). 1917-????. Including her in a book on New Thought writers, now deceased. Thank you so much for your reply.

RH Grenville (Beatrice Rowley) is still alive, living in a rest home in Victoria, BC. She’d likely not be happy to be included at this point in a collection of authors “now deceased”!

I’ll attest to that – I just read to poem to her and her lunch mates in the home! She’s somewhat baffled that her stuff is “out there”.

I’m glad you are sharing our appreciation with her! Thank you.

Would love to track her down or a family member. She submitted a poem to our magazine in 1968 and we would like to get her permission to use it now. Our contact information is from 2003, when we last corresponded with her. Any help in locating, please–time sensitive as of September 2017–please email IdealsInfo@worthypublishing.com. Thanks!
